K Chandrasekhar Rao criticizes failures of Congress government in Telangana, warns of strong retaliation, and urges people to fight back.
Former Chief Minister of Telangana and Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) chief, K Chandrasekhar Rao has said he was keenly watching the Telangana government’s performance with patience and would hit back strongly at the right time on the failures.
Accusing the government of failing Telangana on all fronts, KCR said no section was happy and his warning to people during the election campaign proved right. “I cautioned people not to fall for fake promises of the Congress but people fell for the 10 grams gold (assurance) and voted for Congress,” he claimed.
Similarly, he had cautioned people about Congress diluting the Rythu Bandhu and Dalita Bandhu during the State Assembly election 2023campaign itself, he said addressing the BRS activists and leaders from Kohir, Zaheerabad, Jharasangham and Mogudampally mandals of Zaheerabad constituency at his farmhouse in Erravalli on Friday (January 31, 2025). Former Minister Harish Rao was among present.
KCR alleged that not a single scheme was implemented properly in Telangana. All the projects were kept in abeyance and wanted to know why the government was not moving ahead on the Sangameshwaram and Basaveswaram projects. Kaleshwaram project too is ignored, he alleged.
Stating that BRS would see good days, he asked the people to get ready for a fight against the government and its promises. People of Telangana have learnt a good lesson by voting for the Congress. He reminded how even during the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown, Rythu Bandhu was given to the farmers.
