Karnataka Today newsletter: BSY appeals to BJP leaders to unite to expose failures of Congress govt, and more
Former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa urged his colleagues in the BJP to unite to expose the shortcomings of the Congress government in Karnataka. Referring to infighting within the BJP in Karnataka, Mr. Yediyurappa said, “We can achieve something only when all of us go together.” Mr. Yediyurappa said fighting against each other would not benefit either group.
Reacting to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s comments on the findings of the Enforcement Directorate in the alleged MUDA scam, Mr. Yediyurappa said the CM must be reacting out of worry over the ED’s findings. Being the CM, he should be respectful of the ED, and commenting on its investigation would not be suitable for his position.
