Good Deeds Club donates hearing aids to children, enabling them to develop listening and speaking skills for a brighter future.
The Good Deeds Club, an all-woman philanthropic organisation, in association with Mohan Kameshwaran of the Madras ENT Research Foundation, donated hearing aids to 30 children on Monday.
“When children are born with impaired hearing, they lack the practice to speak as well,” Dr. Kameshwaran said. He spoke on how hearing aids played a critical role in enabling children develop listening and speaking skills.
Social activist and politician Apsara Reddy, who leads the Good Deeds Club, said: “The ability to hear is something many of us take for granted. For these children, it a doorway to a world they have never known. Through this, we are giving them not just sound, but an opportunity to connect, learn, and dream without limitations.”
Members of the Good Deeds Club participated.
