Girl students top quiz contest held as part of Parakram Diwas celebrations

Girls excel in inter-school quiz competition at Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Jipmer during Parakram Diwas celebrations honoring Subhash Chandra Bose.
Girls topped the inter-school quiz competition hosted by Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 Jipmer as part of the Parakram Diwas celebrations held recently to mark the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose.
The event also marked the eighth edition of Pareeksha Pe Charcha initiative aimed at removing exam stress and fear while inspiring students and parents to approach the exams as a festival.
K. Jaya Darshini of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Kadirkamam and S. Vaishali of St. Joseph Cluny School shared the first position. The second place was shared by 10 students from various schools and the third prize secured by five students from different schools.
Students from various reputed educational institutions in Puducherry, including Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kendriya Vidyalaya Kalapettu, Kendriya Vidyalaya Jipmer, various CBSE-affiliated schools and State government schools participated in the competition.
Y. Rama Prasad, Principal, KV No.1 Jipmer, Angrez Singh, Vice-Principal and others paid floral tributes to Netaji at the valedictory session. Sumanesh, a trained graduate teacher-English, KV Jipmer was the quiz master.
Prizes and certificates were distributed to all winners and participation certificates issued to all participants.
