Georgia angler hooks unique-looking fish, snags state record two months after it's broken
Fox News
A Georgia angler has set the new official record for the queen triggerfish only two months after the previous record was set. His catch surpassed the record by two pounds.
The angler went out with some friends, targeting mahi mahi, shellfish and wahoo, but around lunchtime the bites began to slow down, Richburg told Fox News Digital. Sydney Borchers is a lifestyle production assistant with Fox News Digital.
During that lull, Richburg started bottom fishing and, to his surprise, he reeled in something big, bright and "beautiful," he said.
