‘Game Changer’ producer Dil Raju to donate Rs 10 lakh to the families of two youths killed in accident following pre-release event

After a tragic road accident that killed two following the pre-release event of Shankar-Ram Charan film ‘Game Changer’, producer Dil Raju has offered financial support to families of the deceased
After Andhra Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan announced Rs 5 lakh ex gratia for two youths were killed in road mishap in Kakinada following the pre-release event of the upcoming Telugu film Game Changer, the film’s producer Dil Raju has offered financial support to the families of the deceased. Starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, Game Changer is set to hit the theatres on January 10.
Talking to reporters on January 06, 2025 (Monday), Dil Raju said, “It’s unfortunate that such an incident has taken place after a positive event. I will support the families by donating Rs 5 lakh each. My condolences to the families.”
The two youngsters, identified as Arava Manikanta, 23, and Thokada Charan, belonging to Gaigolupadu village in Kakinada district, were declared dead after their two-wheeler collided with a van on the Rajamahendravaram-Kakinada road. The incident occurred while they were returning from the pre-release event of Game Changer held in Rajamahendravaram.

The production house Sri Venkateswara Creations, owned by Dil Raju, took to X to announce the compensation to the families. Meanwhile, Game Changer, starring Ram Charan and directed by Shankar, also stars Anjali and Kiara Advani in lead roles. S J Suryah plays the antagonist.

Touted to be a political action-drama, the movie has cinematography from S Thirunavukkarasu and music from S Thaman. Mounted on a huge scale, the film marks the Telugu debut of ace Tamil filmmaker Shankar.
