Ahead of the Union Budget to be presented on February 1, fruit and vegetable traders in Amritsar, Punjab, have called for the resumption of trade ties with Pakistan, which were halted following the Pulwama attack in 2019.
Traders say that resuming trade through the border will benefit them immensely, as it will allow them to sell their goods to countries as far as the Middle East.
