A new study from Harvard's School of Public Health suggests forgiving others has mental health benefits. University of Memphis psychology professor Dr. M. David Rudd weighed in.
International researchers at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts, studied 4,598 subjects from five countries — Colombia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Africa and Ukraine — who said they'd been hurt or offended by another person. The subjects were taken through self-directed exercises inside a "forgiveness workbook."
