FAPCCI welcomes A.P. Budget 2025-26 focus on inclusive growth, industry support, infrastructure development, and rural economy strengthening.
The Federation of Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FAPCCI) has welcomed the State government’s focus on inclusive growth in education, healthcare, agriculture, development and social welfare and greater allocations to industries in the budget.
In a statement issued on Saturday, FAPCCI president K. Mallikharjuna Rao noted that the ₹3.24 lakh crore A.P. Budget 2025- 26 reflected the objectives of Swarnandhra which is a part of Viksit Bharat. FAPCCI acknowledges the government’s efforts in strengthening the industrial ecosystem, particularly through increased allocations to MSME and food processing sectors. The allocations to infrastructure development and industrial corridors will significantly contribute to the State’s economic progress and more opportunities for trade and exports of the State.
The special incentives and schemes announced for farmers, aquaculture, food processing, and agri-based industries will strengthen the rural economy and promote value addition. The allocation of ₹13,600 crore to the energy sector will lead in the transformative revival of the southern State’s energy sector which is aiming to emerge as a green hydrogen hub.
He hoped that with these budget allocations to various sectors, the State could attract more investments in skill training, startup incubation, and IT sector expansion and tourism development in the State will empower the youth and promote job opportunities.
