Escaped lion causes traffic jam in Pakistan: 'No one is in danger now'

A lion was captured after it went on a two-hour stroll through rush-hour traffic in the Pakistani city of Karachi on Tuesday, August 29. The owner has been arrested.
Karachi police said the lion was in transit when it made its great escape during rush-hour traffic. There was a "massive traffic jam" of both media vehicles and curious onlookers. Christine Rousselle is a lifestyle reporter with Fox News Digital.
"Our teams rushed here immediately. Praise be to Allah, it is with us safely and no one is in danger now," wildlife inspector Mukhtyar Soomro told Reuters.
