
Development of real estate in Hyderabad due to ORR, Metro Rail, Airport and Krishna and Godavari water, says Uttam Kumar Reddy

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy highlights Congress government initiatives and future projects at Hyderabad Real Estate Summit 2025.
Minister for Irrigation and Civil Supplies N. Uttam Kumar Reddy credited the initiatives of the previous Congress governments like the Outer Ring Road, Shamshabad Airport, Metro Rail, and the supply of drinking water from the Krishna and Godavari rivers for the growth of real estate sector in the State capital region.
Addressing the Hyderabad Real Estate Summit 2025 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Madhapur on Tuesday (January 28), Mr. Uttam Kumar Reddy highlighted the ambitious Musi Rejuvenation Project, aimed at transforming the river into an iconic waterfront similar to those in Seoul, making it a centrepiece of Hyderabad’s urban development in the coming years.
He said the ₹1.78 lakh crore in investments secured by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Minister for Industries D. Sridhar Babu at the recent World Economic Forum summit in Davos was a testament to Hyderabad’s potential. The Congress government is also establishing a state-of-the-art Sports University and a Future City project comparable to the world’s best urban developments, the Minister added.
“Our government is available 24x7 for anything that real estate developers or builders require. If there are any issues, you can bring them to my notice directly, and I will represent them to the Chief Minister and the Cabinet,” he said.
