Department of Meteorology warns of thundery rain and strong wind

Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6am on Sunday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain may be thundery at times, the Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery rain and strong wind at places.

Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chance of scattered rain may be thundery at times, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea, thundery rain at places. Wind inshore will be northeasterly to southeasterly at a speed of 07 to 17 knot reaching to 27 knot with thundery rain.
