CSK appoints Sridharan Sriram as assistant bowling coach

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) appoints S. Sriram as assistant bowling coach for IPL 2025, joining coaching staff led by Fleming.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has signed former India all-rounder S. Sriram as its assistant bowling coach ahead of IPL 2025. Sriram joins a coaching staff led by Stephen Fleming (head coach), Mike Hussey (batting coach), and Eric Simons (bowling consultant).
With Dwayne Bravo having joined Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) as mentor, Sriram effectively replaces him at CSK.
Sriram comes with a wealth of coaching experience. He served as the assistant coach of the Australian cricket team from 2016 to 2022. He was also Bangladesh’s T20 consultant during the Asia Cup and the T20 World Cup in 2022. He returned as a technical consultant to the Bangladesh team before the 2023 ODI World Cup.
He was also involved in coaching duties with the IPL teams Delhi Daredevils (Delhi Capitals now) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Most recently, he was the assistant coach of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) last IPL season.
