CSIR-UGC NET December 2024 dates announced

Apply for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2024 to qualify for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor roles.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced dates for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December-2024, which is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor, appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. and admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges.
Online applications are open from December 9 to December 30, 2024. The last date for payment of fees is December 31, 2024. The correction window for applications will be functional on January 1, 2025 to January 2, 2025. The exam will be conducted through Computer Based Mode from February 16-28, 2025.
The exam will have objective type questions and candidates will be given a time duration of 180 minutes. The exam will have a total of five test papers which include: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.
Details of course code, eligibility criteria, pattern of question paper, fee, etc. are available in the information bulletin hosted on the official website. Candidates can apply online through this official website. The application form in any other mode will not be accepted.
According to guidelines by NTA, only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. In no circumstances candidates will be allowed to fill more than one Application Form. The NTA has said it will take strict action, even at a later stage, against such candidates who have filled-in more than one Application Form.
Before applying for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET Examination December 2024, candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria as mentioned in the information bulletin. The exam fee is also required to be paid online through a payment gateway using debit or credit cards, internet banking or UPI.
Candidates must ensure that the e-mail address and mobile number provided in the Online Application Form are their own or Parents only as all information will be sent by NTA through e-mail on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered mobile number only.
