India recorded 2,20,500 new COVID-19 cases as of 9.15 p.m. on Tuesday. As many as 1,352 deaths were also recorded on the day. The country has so far reported a total of 1,55,35,389 cases and 1,81,902 deaths. The figures do not include cases and deaths from Delhi, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Assam, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Ladakh. The data is sourced from covid19india.org, an independent aggregator of daily COVID-19 figures.
