Complaints from senior citizens and women will receive special attention at public grievance cell, says Annamayya district SP
Annamayya district Superintendent of Police V. Vidyasagar Naidu on Monday conducted the ‘Praja Samasyala Parishkara Vedika’ here, addressing grievances from citizens across the district.
During the session, a wide range of complaints were received, including family disputes, cyber fraud, parental harassment, land and property conflicts, fraudulent documents, high-interest money lending and online fraud.
Emphasising the importance of prioritising vulnerable groups, the SP stated that complaints from senior citizens and women would receive special attention. He encouraged residents unable to visit the district headquarters to submit their complaints at local police stations, circle offices and sub-divisional offices.
The SP assured complainants that their grievances would be handled swiftly and in accordance with the law. He instructed police officers to take immediate action and submit reports on the measures taken to the district police headquarters.
“The public grievance cell plays a crucial role in ensuring transparency, accessibility, and swift justice for citizens, and the aggrieved persons could use the platform,” he said.
