Cognizant discusses possibility of setting up its biggest centre of India in Bhubaneswar

Cognizant CEO meets Odisha CM to discuss developing Cognizant campus in Bhubaneswar, promising growth and cooperation.
Cognizant, a leading global technology company, evinced interest to develop its own centre in Bhubaneswar which could be its biggest centre in India.
According to a statement released by the Chief Minister’s Office on Friday (January 10, 2025), Cognizant Chief Executive Officer Ravi Kumar S met CM Mohan Charan Majhi in Janata Maidan on the sidelines of Pravasi Bharatiya Diwas.
“Both discussed on developing Cognizant campus in Bhubaneswar as its biggest centre in India. The CM assured the CEO that the State government would be pleased to allot land within Bhubaneswar for development of Cognizant’s own campus facility and provide full cooperation for making it the biggest in India,” it said.
As per the statement, during the discussion, Ravi Kumar expressed happiness over the growth of its centre in Bhubaneswar and expressed confidence that it would grow even more rapidly in next five years.
The CM sought the cooperation of the CEO Cognizant for bringing in further investments in information technology sector into Odisha. On his part, Cognizant CEO mentioned that he would provide all support to the endeavours of the State government for bringing in investments and growth in the IT sector. Mr. Ravi Kumar was conferred with Pravasi Bharatiya Samman.
