Vadakara police in Kerala investigate deaths of two found in caravan, suspected carbon monoxide poisoning, awaiting autopsy report for confirmation.
The Vadakara police are investigating the exact cause of death of two persons found in a parked caravan at Vadakara in Kozhikode, Kerala, on Monday (December 23, 2024) night.
Preliminary investigations suggest that Manoj and Joel, the driver and the cleaner respectively of the caravan, may have succumbed to carbon monoxide poisoning from the vehicle’s air conditioning unit.
The bodies have been taken to the Government Medical College, Kozhikode for autopsy and will then be handed over to the relatives.
Authorities are awaiting the autopsy report, expected to be available by Tuesday (December 24) evening to confirm the cause of deaths.
