Cabinet orders to stop medical services in private health facilities

Doha: The Prime Minister and Minister of Interior H E Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani chaired the regular Cabinet meeting this afternoon through video conferencing.
At the meeting, Cabinet decided to stop services at private health facilities except for emergency cases. The new decision will come into effect from Friday, April 2, 2021. At the beginning of the meeting, the Cabinet listened to the explanation provided by His Excellency the Minister of Public Health on the latest developments and developments to limit the spread of the Covid - 19 and the cabinet affirmed the continuation of precautionary measures that have been taken in order to combat the epidemic and decided the following:
