The BMW C 400 GT: A stylish scooter with premium details, advanced safety features, modern technology, and improved ergonomics has arrived in India
The BMW C 400 GT presents a blend of style and substance and is available in two striking paint finishes: Blackstorm Metallic and Diamond White Metallic. The latter comes with the ‘Exclusive’ package, which elevates the scooter’s aesthetic with golden rims, refined graphics, a black seat with an embroidered emblem, golden front brake callipers, a lightly tinted windshield, and stylish stainless-steel footboard inserts.
The BMW C 400 GT is powered by a 350cc water-cooled, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine delivering a peak output of 34 hp at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 35 Nm at 5,750 rpm.
Paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), the scooter offers a smooth and dynamic riding experience. A high-torsion rigid swingarm enhances stability and control, while compliance with the latest EU-5+ emission norms ensures an environmentally responsible ride without compromising on performance.
Riders can expect a host of advanced safety features, including BMW Motorrad ABS Pro, Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), which provide superior handling, braking efficiency, and traction management. The Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR) further enhances stability by preventing rear-wheel slip during abrupt throttle closures.
Adding to its modern appeal, the BMW C 400 GT now comes with a 10.25-inch TFT display as standard, featuring Connectivity Pro for seamless smartphone integration. Riders can conveniently access navigation, calls, and music through an intuitive interface. A wireless charging cradle in the left storage compartment ensures that smartphones stay powered throughout the journey, while additional charging options via USB-C and a 12V socket provide further convenience.
BMW has also optimized the ergonomics of the C 400 GT, lowering the seat height to 775mm for improved ground accessibility. The redesigned seat tub and shell, along with a relocated control unit and under-seat lighting, result in an expanded storage capacity of 37.6 litres. The right storage compartment alone now holds up to 4.5 litres, ensuring ample space for daily commuting needs.
The new BMW C 400 GT is available at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹ 11,50,000.
