
BMTC to operate special buses for IPL 2025 matches at Chinnaswamy Stadium

BMTC offers special IPL 2025 match services with multiple bus routes connecting Bengaluru to M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has announced special services for cricket fans travelling to and from M. Chinnaswamy Stadium for the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 matches. The services will be available on April 2, 10, 18, 24, and May 3, 13, and 17.
To accommodate the surge in demand, BMTC will deploy buses on multiple routes connecting key areas of the city with the stadium. The designated routes include: SBS-1K: M. Chinnaswamy Stadium to Kadugodi (via HAL Road), G-2: Sarjapur, G-3: Electronic City (via Hosur Road), G-4: Bannerghatta Zoo, G-7: Janapriya Township (via Magadi Road), G-10: R.K. Hegde Nagar, Yelahanka (via Nagavara, Tannery Road), 317G: Hoskote, 13: Banashankari.

Calling upon officials for effective surveillance to prevent such practices, Minister for Forests, Ecology and Environment Eshwar Khandre said that there were multiple incidents of domestic animals and other herbivores damaging their jaws and dying eventually due to hunger. He said there have been cases of elephant calves chewing the crude bombs and dying.
