Barry Keoghan Says He's Received 'Disgusting' Harassment Amid Sabrina Carpenter Split

"I can only sit and take so much," the "Saltburn" actor wrote on social media.
Barry Keoghan is breaking his silence following his split from Sabrina Carpenter.
After the “Saltburn” actor deactivated his Instagram in the wake of the breakup, Keoghan posted Saturday on X, formerly called Twitter, where he said that his “name has been dragged across the internet” by people who have crossed “too many lines” harassing the actor and his family.
“I can only sit and take so much,” the “Eternals” star began his message. “I have to respond now because it’s gettin to a place where too many lines are being crossed. I deactivated my [Instagram] account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work.”
Keoghan’s words came after People and Us Weekly reported last week that Keoghan and Carpenter broke up after dating for nearly a year.
The pair first sparked romance rumors after Keoghan starred in the music video for Carpenter’s song, “Please, Please, Please,” released back in June. The two appeared at the 2024 Met Gala together just a month before.
