Arignar Anna Zoological Park urges public to report wildlife emergencies during Northeast monsoon in Chennai for immediate assistance.
The Arignar Anna Zoological Park (AAZP) in Vandalur has urged the public to be aware of wildlife safety during the Northeast monsoon. As the rain bring wildlife-related challenges to the public in and around Chennai, the zoo encouraged people to report any rescue needs or emergencies to authorities. For immediate assistance, individuals can contact the Chennai Wildlife Division, Head Quarters Range, via the helpline number: 044-22200335, said a press release from the AAZP Director. The Forest Department staff will provide necessary support and guidance to ensure the safe rescue and rehabilitation of wildlife, the release added.

The Karnataka government has drafted a comprehensive master plan for the integrated development of Kukke Subrahmanya temple, the State’s highest revenue-generating temple managed by the Hindu Religious Institutions and Charitable Endowments Department. The redevelopment initiative is estimated to cost around ₹254 crore and aims to enhance infrastructure and facilities for devotees.
