A senior official of the city police said Gnanasekaran, who broke his arm and leg while trying to escape the Kotturpuram police on December 25, 2024, and was being treated at Government Stanley Hospital, was discharged after the hospital authorities gave a fitness certificate to lodge him in Puzhal prison.
