Environment Canada’s forecast calls for 5 cm of snow today, with another 2-4 cm of snow tonight. The stretch of mild weather over the holidays will end heading into the weekend, with a low of -8 C on Thursday, -13 C on Friday and -19 C on Saturday, while daytime highs will be -11 C on Saturday and Sunday.
It will look and feel like winter to start 2025 in Ottawa, with 5-10 cm of snow expected on New Year’s Day and cold temperatures returning for the first weekend of the new year.
