Doha: The designated authorities referred 259 people to the prosecution for Covid-19 precautionary measure violations on October 15.
253 were reported for not wearing masks, while six were referred to prosecution for not installing the Ehteraz app.
The measures are in line with the Cabinet decision on gradually lifting Covid-19 restrictions announced last week; all citizens and residents must continue to wear masks in closed public places.
