16 new private schools and kindergartens to provide over 8,000 academic seats

Doha: Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the addition of several new private schools and kindergartens across the curriculum in this academic year. 

The new academic year is expected to witness the opening of 16 new private schools and kindergartens, which will add 8,870 academic seats, said Hamad Mohammed Al Ghali, Director of the Private Schools Licensing Department in an official statement.  He stressed that these schools will provide wide options for parents, pointing out that the curricula in these schools include the British curriculum (9), the American curriculum (2), the Indian curriculum (3),  and others (2).
