Medical experts say that the best way to defend ones self from the current measles outbreak is to be vaccinated with two doses of the MMR vaccine.

Measles cases were reported in Alaska, California, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York City, Rhode Island and Texas, as of Feb. 27.
