The water level in Papanasam dam was 69.55 feet (maximum level 143 feet) with an inflow of 1,029.479 cusecs and a discharge of 354.75 cusecs. The water level in Manimuthar dam was 45.15 ft (118 feet) with an inflow of 48 cusecs and a discharge of five cusecs. Papanasam recorded 2 mm rainfall, Manjolai 2, Kakkachi 3 and Nalumukku and Oothu 4 mm each during the last 24 hours ending 6 a.m. on Sunday, PWD officials said.
