
Two-day arthroscopy conclave inaugurated in Hyderabad

Telangana Governor inaugurates Hyderabad Arthroscopy Conclave-2025, focusing on advancements in orthopaedic surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the Hyderabad Arthroscopy Conclave-2025 on Saturday, marking the beginning of a two-day international conference and live workshop organised by Yashoda Hospitals. The event aims to explore advancements in arthroscopic surgery, robotic assistance, and artificial intelligence (AI) integration in orthopaedic minimally invasive procedures.
Addressing the gathering, the governor highlighted the growing interest among Indian youth in sports and fitness, highlighting India’s increasing prominence in global sports. “Sports injuries are among the most common orthopaedic challenges in India. This conclave provides a platform for young orthopaedic doctors, trainees and physiotherapists to enhance their expertise by engaging with the latest advancements,” he said.
Yashoda Hospitals Group Director Dr. Pavan Gorukanti underscored the significance of minimally invasive surgical techniques. “Arthroscopy has revolutionised the way orthopaedic surgeries are performed. This conference will highlight its importance in diagnosing and treating joint-related issues with minimal invasion,” he stated.
Organising Chairman and Senior Sports Orthopaedics and Arthroscopy Surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals, Dr. R. A. Purnachadra Tejaswi, stressed the necessity of keeping pace with technological advancements in the field. “With the rapid progress in arthroscopic technologies, it is essential for medical professionals to stay updated and continue delivering the best possible care to patients,” he remarked.
