Kristi Noem will serve as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security in the upcoming Trump administration, according to an announcement on Tuesday.
The DHS oversees U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), U.S. Secret Service and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
