Fox News
Legislation to avert a government shutdown and supported by President Donald Trump passed the House of Representatives.

The measure, a short-term extension of fiscal year (FY) 2024 funding known as a continuing resolution (CR), will now head to the Senate. It must pass there and get to Trump's desk before the end of Friday, March 14, to avert a partial shutdown. Follow on Twitter at @liz_elkind and send tips to elizabeth.elkind@fox.com
