Travis Kelce is mulling over his NFL future after a painful defeat at the 2025 Super Bowl.
The Kansas City Chiefs star hoped to make history Sunday by winning a third consecutive championship, only to lose 22-40 against the Philadelphia Eagles. On the podcast he records with his brother, Jason Kelce, the Chiefs player grappled with why — but only after praising his teammates.
“I just wanted to thank my teammates for everything they fucking do, man,” he said on the “New Heights” podcast. “The effort, the focus, the work that we put in, that wasn’t the reason. Going into the game, I felt as confident as I ever felt going into a Super Bowl.”
Travis arrived at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans in a fashionable game-day outfit, but after the dream of a Chiefs “three-peat” victory crumbled, he solemnly retreated to the locker room.
Jason, a former Eagle himself, published a lengthy social media post Tuesday praising his ex-teammates — while also commending his brother.
