Tom Arnold spoke to Howard Stern about his late friend who struggled with addiction.
"Lorne Michaels called me and he said, ‘You have a lot in common with Chris Farley," the comic told the host, 67. "’Would you please spend time with him?’" According to the outlet, Arnold went on to become the star’s sober sponsor. "You know, he wanted to be sober," said Arnold. "And I think Lorne really worried about that. So I was his sponsor for a few years."
