Daniel Suarez became the first Mexican to win a NASCAR Cup Series race with his victory at the Toyota Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway in California.

The 30-year-old NASCAR veteran is the first Mexican and just the fifth foreign-born driver to win a Cup Series race.
The Sonoma win came at his 195th Cup Series event and six years after he won the Xfinity Series championship in 2016.
