Donald Trump adviser Stephen Miller on Tuesday orchestrated a silly gotcha attempt on CNN host Jake Tapper that failed miserably. (Watch the video below.)
The two were arguing over the president’s freeze on federal funding ― a possibly unconstitutional move that was blocked temporarily by a judge.
Trump had attempted to halt billions in government spending for schools, states and organizations to conduct ideological reviews of the programs presumably to root them out if they are perceived as liberal.
“Overwhelmingly, the career federal service in this country is far-left, left-wing,” said Miller, Trump’s deputy chief of staff.
“I don’t know that to be a fact,” Tapper said.
