SPIEF strengthens Qatar-Russia partnership: Envoy

There is comprehensive cooperation between the Stae of Qatar and Russia in all fields, where more than 60 joint cooperation agreements were signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) between government institutions and private sector from Qatar and Russian institutions and companies, said Qatar’s envoy to Russia.

Speaking to Sputnik, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation, H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al Thani, pointed out that Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani gave lofty directions, during the Forum, to raise the level of trade partnership between Qatar and Russia, and to strengthen the distinguished relations between the two countries. The ambassador stressed that Russia is a strategic and important partner for the State of Qatar, noting that the St. Petersburg Forum will give a strong impetus to strengthening the partnership and doubling the level of trade exchange between the two countries.
