The actor had a MAGA message for a Reclaim America Tour gathering.
Zachary Levi, the star of two “Shazam!” superhero movies and TV’s spy comedy “Chuck,” endorsed Donald Trump for president in a move he called potential “career suicide.” (Watch the video below.)
The actor said “in a perfect world... perhaps I would have voted for Bobby,” referring to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s dropped independent presidential bid. But Levi is now casting his lot with the Republican nominee, he told Trump’s Reclaim America Tour audience in Dearborn, Michigan, on Saturday.
Before interviewing “Team Trump” members RFK Jr. and ex-Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, Levi made his own pitch for the former president.
“We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country,” Levi said. “We are going to make it great again. We are going to make it healthy again. And so, I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump.”
“He’s gonna get us there because he’s gonna have the backing and the support and the wisdom and the knowledge and the fight that exists in Robert Kennedy Jr. and former Representative Tulsi Gabbard,” the actor continued.
