Seth Meyers Busts New GOP Gaslighting With A Damning Reminder

“You’re leaving out the biggest part," said the "Late Night" comedian.
Seth Meyers is done with Republicans conveniently forgetting about or downplaying the deadly Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection when Donald Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol as his election loss was being certified.
Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, during the vice presidential debate became the latest in a line of conservatives to claim that the former president left office peacefully.
“Trump only left office peacefully on Jan. 20 because he tried to stay in office violently on Jan. 6 and it didn’t work out,” Meyers pointed out.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro and Jesse Watters have made similar claims.
