
San Franciso considers lowering admission standards for prestigious schools 'to improve student outcomes'

The superintendent for the San Francisco Unified School District recommended adopting less rigorous admissions requirements for the district's two most prestigious high schools.
Lowell High School, which is ranked the top school in San Francisco by U.S. News & World Report, has an extensive application and testing process. Joshua Q. Nelson is a reporter for Fox News Digital.
The recommendations say the current tests and essays applicants have to complete create issues of access and equity. Joshua focuses on politics, education policy ranging from the local to the federal level, and the parental uprising in education.
