Robert Saleh getting Raiders interview as Bill Belichick rumors swirl
NY Post
A second NFL team is set to interview Robert Saleh for their head coaching vacancy.
The Raiders, who fired Antonio Pierce Tuesday after just one full season as the team’s head coach, have lined up an interview with Saleh, according to ProFootballTalk.
Saleh, who interviewed for his old 49ers defensive coordinator job on Thursday, is also set to interview with the Jaguars for their head coaching job.
The Jets fired Saleh in October after the team fell to 2-3 with a loss to the Vikings in London.
Saleh, 45, finished his three-plus-year tenure with the Jets with a 20-36 record.
The Jets went 3-9 the rest of the 2024 season under interim head coach Jeff Ulbrich.
