The politician and NFL star appeared to reach a critical moment in their relationship during a trailer for the series.
In a trailer for a new documentary about Aaron Rodgers that dropped Tuesday, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. asked the star quarterback a telling question:
“Have you thought about going into politics?” (Watch the video below.)
The snippet provides no context as the two converse in nature. But the possibility of Rodgers becoming RFK Jr.’s running mate in his longshot independent bid for the presidency did capture the public’s interest for a while.
Rodgers told Tucker Carlson in May that Kennedy asked him straight-up if he would consider being his potential vice president. Rodgers said he asked Kennedy if he was serious, just to confirm the offer was real.
