The 118th birth anniversary of former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivan Ram was celebrated across the city here on Saturday, recalling his services towards improvement of the lifestyle of the oppressed sections.
District Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad paid rich tributes to the late leader at his statue on the Beach Road.
