Michael Kosta could not believe this moment from the man President Trump wants in charge of Health and Human Services.
“Daily Show” correspondent Michael Kosta said Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spent his Senate confirmation hearings trying to backtrack from his views on vaccines.
Kennedy, who President Donald Trump nominated for secretary of Health and Human Services, has frequently spoken out against vaccines. But he spent part of Wednesday’s hearings denying that he was an anti-vaxxer and at one point insisted that his own children were vaccinated.
“What are you going to believe, his well-documented decades-long record, or the thing he said today when he was trying to get a job?” Kosta asked. “Besides, all of his kids are vaccinated. He definitely doesn’t regret that, right? Right? Right?”
Kosta rolled footage of Kennedy in 2020 saying that if he could go back in time, he would stop his children from getting vaccinated.
“I would do anything for that,” Kennedy said. “I would pay anything to be able to do that.”
