Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 6.44 points, or 0.06%, at the start of trading on Sunday, up to the level of 10,398 compared to Thursday's closing.

QSE index was supported by a rise in Industrials by 0.48%; Real Estate by 0.35%; and Insurance by 0.04%. On the other hand, the index saw a decline in Consumer Goods and Services by 0.05%; Transportation by 0.11%; Banks and Financial Services by 0.11%; and Telecoms by 0.13%.

Around 10:00 am, 19.481 million shares were traded in 1,557 transactions valued QR 44.349 million.
