QM promotes Qatar’s heritage at Milan Design Week

Milan: Qatar Museums, under the patronage of its Chairperson H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, recently participated in Milan Design Week (Salone del Mobile. Milano 2021). 

They promoted Qatar’s rich history through an initiative that invited the international creative community to reimagine underdeveloped historic sites across the country.  The initiative encouraged designers, architects, financiers, restauranteurs, and others worldwide to combine thoughtfulness, innovation, sustainability, and stewardship to identify new ways to honour Qatar’s past and create experiences, activations, and installations that can be enjoyed for generations to come.
