Madurai The Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on Tuesday has sought a response from the Centre and the State in a public interest litigation petition that highlighted the plight of the tribal communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. A Division Bench of Justices T.S. Sivagnanam and S. Ananthi sought a response in the PIL petition filed by R. Ezhiloviya of Pudukkottai. The petitioner sought a direction to authorities to set up community kitchens to offer nutritious food to the tribal communities in the State.
