One tasty food 'represents home' and family to former NFL player
Fox News
Former NFL player Michael Lehan was inspired by his biological father to open the Peach Cobbler Factory. Lehan met his biological family, who presented him with a peach cobbler each time he came home.
The inspiration to become an entrepreneur took shape while Lehan was still playing football, but his investment in a Peach Cobbler Factory franchise had everything to do with the memories of his father, who has since passed away. "It really started [with] this concept of 'peach cobbler represents home.'" Peter Burke is a lifestyle editor with Fox News Digital.
"My freshman year in college, I had the great opportunity of meeting my biological family," Lehan, who was adopted and spent time in foster care, told Fox News Digital in an interview. (See the video at the top of this article.)
