Police are investigating a deadly confrontation in the New York City subway system, CBS New York's Ali Bauman reports.
Sources tell the station a former Marine restrained another passenger who was acting erratically on a train in a station in the SoHo section of Manhattan Monday afternoon.
Bauman obtained video of the incident. It shows a 24-year-old man putting a 30-year-old man in a chokehold. The first man holds the other around the neck for two minutes and 55 seconds of the video.
An American Airlines jet with 60 passengers and four crew members aboard collided with an Army helicopter Wednesday night while coming in for a landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington. The Black Hawk helicopter was carrying a crew of three. Officials said early Thursday that everyone on board both aircraft is believed dead, which would make it the deadliest U.S. air crash in nearly a quarter century.
