A new children's book, "Charlie at the Pom Springs Hotel," tells the true story of Lara Eurdolian King's adoption of Charlie, a dog that was being fostered in a hotel lobby.
Each day, Charlie helps guests around the hotel — and dreams of the day that he will find his "forever family." Adoptable senior dogs not only exist but also make excellent pets, the author said. Christine Rousselle is a lifestyle reporter with Fox News Digital.
During his "stay" at the hotel, Charlie learns lessons about friendship and that families come in all shapes, sizes — and species.
